Summerfest Headline Acts, A View from the Marcus Amphitheater Stage

The Marcus Amphitheater can hold 23,000 fans. When the venue is full, you can hear the roar of the crowd from the M&I stage just north of the venue. Summerfest Headline acts happily play for those thousands of fans for ten days. Sometimes the lawn section is free, if you grab a wristband when the Summerfest grounds open for the day.

The Summerfest bleacher sections are reserved, but when the crowd is smaller, you can find a spot to sit on the benches. There have been shows where you can try to work your way down to the reserved sections. Summerfest has only one 2010 headliner so far. I would expect that it will be months before the next act is locked in.

I liked seeing Binky Tunny at the Zippo stage. They threw roses to the crowd.
