the BMO Harris Pavilion. There is one more show for the summer at the BMO, and that would be none other than Elvis Costello and the Imposters. They will hit the stage on September 15. Elvis Costello started his career back in the early 1970's. He played what they call "pub rock" back then. From there, he created some very snappy punk style music.
Elvis Costello was awarded a Grammy, and is also a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He has crossed over to play with Burt Bacharach, Davey Faragher, Dave Grohl, and Marian McPartland. He my not play the punk hits that made him famous, but one can hope. Elvis Costello is on his third marriage, and refuses to eat meat. He's raised funds for various organizations such as the Jazz Foundation of America, and for the victims of hurricane Katrina. This will be the last show for the BMO Harris Pavilion in 2012.
